Camille A. (Jackvony) Caccia, 95, of Providence, passed away on June 5, 2026, at Golden Crest Nursing Centre. Born and raised in Providence, she was a 1949 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and worked at the Providence Public Library, Gorham Manufacturing Company, and the Rhode Island School Lunch Program, where she retired after 25 years. Camille was married to the late Anthony “Tony” C. Caccia for 60 years. She is survived by three children, a grandson, and a sister. Known for her outgoing and kindhearted nature, Camille enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, and traveling, particularly to her vacation home in Stowe, Vermont. An active community member and communicant of St. Augustine Church, she valued close relationships with family and friends. The family expressed gratitude to the staff at Golden Crest Nursing Centre and Hope Health Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the National Kidney Foundation in Camille’s memory.

Nacida en Providence, fue hija de Anthony D. y Lucy Jackvony y estuvo casada durante 60 años con Anthony “Tony” C. Caccia, ya fallecido. Camille es sobrevivida por sus tres hijos, Jeanne, Robert y Janet, su nieto Anthony Frank Caccia, y su hermana Ethel DiNezza.
Graduada en 1949 de Mount Pleasant High School, trabajó en la Biblioteca Pública de Providence, en Gorham Manufacturing Company y, durante 25 años, en el programa estatal de almuerzos escolares de Rhode Island hasta su jubilación. Reconocida por su naturaleza amable y generosa, Camille disfrutaba cocinar, organizar reuniones familiares y viajar, especialmente a su casa de vacaciones en Stowe, Vermont. Fue miembro activo de la comunidad y fiel asistente a la iglesia de San Agustín.
La familia agradece el cuidado recibido en Golden Crest Nursing Centre y Hope Health Hospice durante sus últimos días. En lugar de flores, solicitan donaciones a la National Kidney Foundation en memoria de Camille.
