Federal Hill’s popular outdoor dining event, “Al Fresco on the Hill,” is set to return on June 13 and run through September 5, 2026. Organized by the Federal Hill Commerce Association, the event expands restaurant seating onto Atwells Avenue on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight. The stretch from Bradford Street to Dean Street will remain open to vehicle traffic, allowing participating restaurants to set up parklet dining in front of their establishments. Meanwhile, Atwells Avenue between Dean Street and Acorn Street will be closed to vehicles from 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. to accommodate the event. The experience includes live entertainment, artistic performances, and a variety of restaurants and retailers. Reservations are recommended due to the event’s popularity, and many restaurants offer valet parking. Additional parking options include on-street spaces and paid valet lots at several nearby locations. A wide range of Federal Hill dining spots, such as Andino’s Italian Restaurant, Cassarino’s, Harry’s Bar & Burger, and Palermo’s Pizza, will participate, offering visitors diverse culinary choices in a vibrant outdoor setting.
El evento “Al Fresco on the Hill” regresa a Federal Hill el 13 de junio y se extenderá hasta el 5 de septiembre de 2026, tras el éxito de su temporada 2025. Organizado por la Federal Hill Commerce Association, esta iniciativa permite a los restaurantes expandir su espacio de comedor al aire libre en la calle los sábados, de 5 p.m. a medianoche. En Atwells Avenue, entre Bradford Street y Dean Street, el tráfico vehicular permanecerá abierto, mientras que el tramo desde Dean Street hasta Acorn Street estará cerrado desde las 3:30 p.m. hasta las 2:30 a.m. para facilitar la instalación de parklets frente a los establecimientos participantes.
El evento combina gastronomía, comercio local, entretenimiento en vivo y presentaciones artísticas, ofreciendo una experiencia completa para visitantes y residentes. Se recomienda hacer reservaciones debido a la popularidad de la propuesta. Además, muchos restaurantes cuentan con servicio de valet y hay opciones de estacionamiento en la calle y en lotes de pago cercanos.
