This Month’s Theme: Spill the Tea
250 years ago, Rhode Islanders gathered in Market Square to burn tea in protest, an act of rebellion that helped spark a revolution. This June, we return to that same spot to Spill the Tea. From gossip to resistance, revelation to real talk, we’re leaning into the stories that stir things up.
As we approach America’s 250th anniversary and the many histories held by one nation, we’re teaming up with the RI Center for the Book, an org that celebrates the art and heritage of reading, writing, making, and sharing books.

Doors open at 7:20pm and presentations kick off at 8:20pm.

El tema de este mes: Derrama el Té
Hace 250 años, los habitantes de Rhode Island se reunieron en Market Square para quemar té en protesta, un acto de rebelión que ayudó a desencadenar una revolución. Este junio, volvemos a ese mismo lugar para Derramar el Té. Desde chismes hasta resistencia, revelaciones y conversaciones reales, nos inclinamos hacia las historias que agitan las cosas.
